The 7 Chakras System – The Sacred Centers of The Body!
It’s my goal to explain the 7 chakra system in easy and simple ways that are perfect for beginners. The chakra system originated in India. Western culture learned about the chakra system by the practice and study of the Yoga tradition.
This system represents a map that can help us navigate through our personal journey. Some view and refer to the chakra system as the “Eastern Anatomy” of the body.
Although there are many energy centers throughout the body, today we will concentrate on the 7 main energy centers known as “chakras”.
Some people view and describe these centers as wheel-like spinning vortexes. Like mini-tornadoes that move in a circular pattern forming a vacuum in the center.
These energetic vortexes hold or store all of our emotions, thoughts, habits, and records of our past experiences.
Each chakra represents different levels of consciousness and how we open to that consciousness. You can think of them as windows or portals that give us a glimpse of the relationship between the body and mind.

Understanding the chakras gives you the opportunity to better understand the relationship and correlation between your consciousness and your body. It opens the door to better understanding not only yourself but those around you as well.
