In 2017, I went back to Bali to lead another wonderful retreat for a wonderful group of yogis and friends. Bali holds a special place in my heart and I could not wait to go back. Being there was better than I remembered and it was great to see some of the same people who feel like family to us. Our driver and some of the staff members were happy to see us again and made us feel like we were home.
We enjoyed daily morning yoga classes, trekked to the Batur Caldera, had blessings ceremony, purification ceremony at a powerful and healing waterfall, visited gorgeous temples, went water rafting, shopping and enjoyed the best massages I had received in a long time. The food was delicious and the accommodations were very luxurious and like the last time, we celebrated the end of our stay there with our private Balinese performance and dance just for our group.
“I have been fortunate enough to attend 2 yoga retreats with Adri and she continues to amaze me with how she makes her travel experiences so enjoyable and gratifying. Her retreats merge just the right amount of yoga/relaxation with wonderful travel adventures. Every detail of Adri’s retreats are well planned from the superb food to exceptional accommodations. Combine all of this with one of the best yoga instructors around and you are in for an amazing experience!” Carol
In 2015, I led a group of yogis and friends to the beautiful Island of Santorini. It has always been one of my dreams to go there and enjoy the beautiful sunsets which the island is known for worldwide. It was an incredible experience to be there enjoying the food, culture, and sights. We practiced yoga daily, visited local towns with great shopping and food, rented a private boat for our group to sail through the waters of the Mediterranean, visited a very old civilization, a monastery, and much more.
Santorini holds a special place in my heart and I’m sure I will go back in years to come.
“Again, I would like to tell you how much we loved the retreat. Everything was perfect…the location, the hotel, and staff, the women (and men!) who were a part of our group….I could go on and on. You were fabulous! You challenged me to move beyond what I thought was possible for myself at this time and we succeeded! I understand so much more about myself than I did before. Where this knowledge will lead…who knows!” Cindy
In 2013, I led a group of yogis and friends to the beautiful Island of Bali. We had such a great time. I wanted to make this retreat extra special by combining morning yoga classes, fun excursions, massages, and great food while immersing ourselves in the beautiful culture the island has to offer. The retreat center is breathtaking and the yoga room where we practice each morning was beautiful. We were indoors but with the floor to ceiling windows, we felt like we were outdoors listening to the waterfall, birds and enjoying a gentle breeze. The people in Bali are very kind, welcoming and friendly.
We all had an amazing time trekking, water rafting, temple tours and other fun activities. We enjoyed our Balinese purification ceremony, blessing ceremony and the best part was our Private Farewell dinner where the entire village came to perform and dance just for our group. I can’t wait to go back to this beautiful place. It is my home away from home.
“I recently had the good fortune to be part of a yoga retreat in Bali with Adri Kyser and I have to say it was a trip of a lifetime. The resort was lovely, the food spectacular and the views breathtaking. We practiced yoga in an open pavilion overlooking the lush tropical rainforest and surrounded by nature. The overall experience was transforming, peaceful and uplifting. Adri did a fantastic job organizing the trip and all of our excursions. Thank you, Adri!” Heidi
In 2011, a friend and I led a group of yogis and friends to Peru. We visited Machu Picchu, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and more. We had such a great time. All the excursions, hotels, tours and sites we visited where amazing. Visiting Machu Picchu and practicing Surya Namaskars there cannot be described with words. What a beautiful country! The people were so nice and friendly, and the food was delicious.
We all had amazing yoga classes twice per day at a beautiful, eco-friendly retreat center. We also visited Casa de Milagros, an orphanage where the kids are as adorable as they can be and become part of a big beautiful family.
“My husband and I went to Peru on a yoga retreat with Adri in June 2011 when I was10-weeks pregnant. Adri worked with me personally to adjust my practice to the needs of pregnancy. I loved working with her! Her classes were both invigorating and spiritual. I love the way Adri works with each individual to meet the needs of her or his practice, while at the same time creating a cohesive atmosphere in class. Adri has a beautiful practice, and she is as beautiful on the inside as the outside. She is a wonderful teacher and friend!” Jennifer
In 2010, I had the opportunity to go to India with a group of friends and yogis. We had amazing yoga classes, visited temples and special places. Being part of the Ganga Aarti ceremony was an incredible experience and being able to meditate each morning in front of the Ganga River brought so much peace to everyone.
We also visited a few schools and brought much-needed supplies to the kids there. We’re pampered with Ayurvedic massages, great food, and beautiful sights. We also had the opportunity to connect with the locals as well with like-minded people from all over the world. You can see some great pictures of us visiting The Taj Mahal, Red Fort and more.
In 2008, I was blessed with the opportunity to visit one the most beautiful places where wild life roams freely. I went to Kenya with a small group of yoga friends. We went on safari tours and visited a local school where we taught yoga and played with the girls. We visited the Masai villages, local markets and restaurants. We also went to the Orphan Elephant shelter where we had the opportunity to see these beautiful babies bond with their keepers. We fed and pet the Giraffes, saw Zebras roaming, and saw lions with their cubs. We had an experience of a lifetime.
